For as long as I have been able to put pen to paper and form words, I have been a writer. I have also been an avid people watcher as long as that same memory stretches.
I was published at thirteen and again at eighteen; both times for poetry. I have done freelance work for several years in different genres, the latest of which was a parenting website now no longer in existence. I began this blog as an outlet for frustrations that I had not faced before. Somehow, writing them out can be the most cathartic way to deal with uncertainty, for they then exist in black and white rather than the unknown. Now I am hoping that in honesty and truth it can help another that is struggling on the road of life, in parenting or step-parenting; Even if just a place to vent or read or simply to feel safe with your emotions. We all feel those ugly moments as well as the beautiful ones. I’m not going to candy coat anything. You will get the good with the bad.
I don’t claim to be perfect or all knowing. I am a simple girl sharing simple truths as I see them through my set of experiences and filters. Each of us is unique as are our journeys, so I apologize if I come off abrupt or step on toes. I promise though that you will always know exactly where I stand!!
